Reloading Scales
Reloading scales, or powder loading scales, are used by gun owners and competitive shooters to measure the weight of gunpowder or other materials when reloading cartridges. Properly weighing these materials is important for safety and accuracy. The scale helps ensure that the correct amount of powder is used in each cartridge load, preventing dangerous overcharges or undercharges. Scales used for weighing gunpowder weigh in grains (gn), which is the preferred weighing unit among hunters and competitive shooters. Reloading scales can be either mechanical or electronic, but both types work by measuring weight precisely to ensure consistency in cartridge loads.
